Our Story

Viridian Homes is a builder dedicated to creating “Eco-Friendly” homes in the Hampton Roads area. At Viridian Homes, we take a practical, “whole house approach” to building comfortable, energy efficient and environmentally friendly new green homes that are built to stand the test of time. The majority of our homes receive a third party certification, and are built to published green standards by Energy Star, EarthCraft House of Virginia, or by the NAHB National Green Building Standard.

Viridian Homes has built in the Tidewater Builder's Association Homearama three times to date in a partnership with
Richardson Homes, Inc. We have participated in the Fall 2010 Homearama in East Beach, Norfolk, the 2012 Spring Homearama in Culpepper Landing in Chesapeake, and then again in the 2012 Fall Homearama back in East Beach, Norfolk. Homearama is a great opportunity to show off some of our creativity and to showcase new ideas.

Viridian Homes builds throughout Hampton Roads. We build anywhere from custom homes for clients to affordable homes in conjunction with the Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority (NRHA). Regardless of the price point or location of our homes, they are all built with the same thought and care.
